About the Role
We’re seeking a strategic, operator-minded Chief Operating Officer to lead operational performance, growth execution, and leadership alignment for a luxury hospitality group. This role is ideal for an executive who can scale a brand thoughtfully—bringing discipline, systems, talent structure, and financial accountability without diluting the experience that made the brand special.
The right leader is both sophisticated and practical. You can sit with ownership to shape long-term strategy, then work with operators to solve the friction points that determine whether that strategy actually works.
Key Areas of Ownership
Enterprise Operations Strategy
- Lead operational strategy across restaurants, hotels, clubs, wine estates, private events, or luxury lifestyle concepts
- Create scalable systems, leadership rhythms, performance standards, and accountability structures
- Partner with ownership or the CEO to translate brand vision into disciplined execution
Financial & Performance Leadership
- Oversee P&L performance, labor strategy, margin improvement, budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, guest experience, consistency, and resource allocation
- Partner with finance, HR, marketing, development, and property-level leaders to align business goals
Leadership Team Development
- Lead and develop senior operators, general managers, directors, and department heads
- Establish clear decision-making frameworks, communication cadence, and performance expectations
- Support succession planning, talent assessment, and leadership development across the organization
Growth, Openings & Brand Scalability
- Support new openings, acquisitions, market expansion, concept development, or operational turnarounds
- Evaluate systems, vendors, technology, staffing models, and organizational design needed for growth
- Ensure expansion is thoughtful, financially sound, and aligned with the brand’s luxury positioning
What You Bring
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, restaurants, hotels, resorts, private clubs, wine, or premium lifestyle brands
- Proven success leading multi-unit, multi-property, or multi-concept operations at the executive level
- Strong financial acumen with experience driving profitability, operational discipline, and scalable growth
- Experience partnering directly with founders, owners, boards, investors, or family offices
- Ability to lead through influence, structure, clarity, and high standards
- Executive presence with a grounded, hands-on leadership style
What We Offer
- Competitive salary range of $225K–$325K DOE
- Executive bonus and potential long-term incentive or equity participation depending on structure
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits
- PTO, paid holidays, and executive-level flexibility
- Travel, dining, wine, or hospitality-related benefits
- Opportunity to help shape the next chapter of a luxury hospitality group with significant growth potential
