Rush Lattin Cellars was born from the belief that we are all creators at heart. Inspired by a great-great uncle Rush Lattin—an artist who rode into Yosemite on horseback with a five-foot canvas to capture the majesty of the valley— the winery began as a passion project.
Like Uncle Rush, Larry felt called to bring something beautiful into the world and wine is his medium. Larry didn’t begin as a winemaker. He has spent decades as a high-performance leadership coach—helping leaders and teams unlock their passionate purpose, elevate performance, and build values-driven cultures. But the desire to create something lasting and meaningful sparked a shift, leading him down the long, humbling road of mastering the art and science of wine; from garage experiments to gold-medal vintages, every step intentional.
Michelle, Larry’s wife and partner, natural connector, has an extensive background in business operations for corporate America and small business, has become the heartbeat of their community, turning guests into friends and gatherings into celebrations. Together, they have built Rush Lattin Cellars not just as a winery, but as a gathering place – where passion meets craftmanship, where stories are shared, and where wine is more than a drink, it’s an experience.

At Rush Lattin Cellars, we produce in extremely small quantities, sourcing from elite vineyards across Washington State. We choose artistry over scale, and intention over trends. Every barrel is hand-crafted, every label is rooted in family, and every wine is a reflection of bold purpose.
Because we don’t just craft wine — we craft moments. We believe wine is a bridge: to conversation, to community, to connection. Whether you join our membership, attend a tasting, or share a bottle with someone you love, you are part of the story.

an evening of wine and connection
We had the pleasure of visiting Rush Lattin Cellars at The Vault in Maltby, in Snohomish, WA, experiencing firsthand the warmth and craftsmanship that define this remarkable winery. Kelly and April, co-owners of The Reserve Talent Group, were welcomed like family by Larry and Michelle, and enjoyed an evening of unforgettable wine, connection, and conversation.
One highlight of the night was tasting the 2024 Ma Shelmo Rosé; a beautifully crafted Grenache Rose’ from Columbia Valley that was just named Best in Class by the Seattle Wine Awards. While this exceptional vintage has been currently reserved for club members, it is now available to a wider audience and has been absolutely worth the wait.
We’re proud to showcase Rush Lattin through our Signature Series, not only for their extraordinary wines, but for the community, artistry, and authenticity they bring to every bottle. Here’s to raising a glass, sharing stories, and celebrating what matters most.
