About the Opportunity
Seeking a hands-on Viticulture Operations Lead to help oversee day-to-day vineyard execution, team coordination, and site optimization across our estate vineyards in the Dundee Hills AVA.
This role is ideal for a vineyard professional who loves being in the field, thrives on precision and organization, and is looking to grow into a leadership role within a regenerative and quality-driven farming program. You’ll work alongside a small but experienced team, supporting seasonal strategy and ensuring our practices align with both environmental standards and winemaking goals.
Your Key Areas of Impact
Daily Vineyard Operations
- Coordinate field tasks including pruning, canopy management, spraying, and irrigation in line with seasonal goals
- Lead crew assignments and manage third-party labor vendors to ensure quality and efficiency
- Assist with daily harvest activities, bin logistics, and pick schedules
Sustainability & Compliance
- Uphold vineyard practices aligned with organic and regenerative farming principles
- Ensure safety standards and compliance protocols are maintained year-round
- Support spray program documentation, inventory, and regulatory tracking
Team Leadership & Support
- Work closely with the Vineyard Manager to guide field teams, mentor seasonal staff, and promote a culture of care and accountability
- Help onboard new team members and foster cross-training between tasks and seasons
- Maintain clear communication between viticulture and cellar teams to support timing and quality targets
Data & Resource Management
- Collect and log data on yields, vigor, weather, and pest/disease activity to help guide agronomic decisions
- Monitor irrigation blocks and manage equipment maintenance requests
- Collaborate in identifying areas for process improvement and equipment upgrades
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5+ years of vineyard experience, ideally with premium winegrape farming
- Strong understanding of viticulture techniques and seasonal operations
- Basic mechanical/equipment awareness and an eye for field safety
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or farm management software
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Degree in viticulture, plant science, or agriculture is a plus—but hands-on field experience counts just as much

- Base Salary: $73,000–$110,000 annually, depending on experience
