About the Role

We’re seeking a strategic sales and partnership leader to expand market presence, deepen trade relationships, and drive revenue growth for an ultra-premium wine brand. This role is ideal for someone who can balance brand integrity with commercial ambition—building thoughtful relationships that support long-term growth rather than short-term volume alone.

The right candidate understands premium wine sales, hospitality-driven storytelling, and the importance of choosing the right channels, partners, and placements. You are polished, disciplined, relationship-oriented, and comfortable representing a brand at the highest level.

Key Areas of Ownership

Sales Strategy & Channel Growth

  • Lead sales strategy across key wholesale, distribution, trade, hospitality, corporate, and private client channels
  • Identify priority markets, accounts, partners, and revenue opportunities aligned with brand positioning
  • Partner with ownership, production, marketing, and hospitality teams to align inventory, pricing, allocation, and demand generation

Strategic Partnerships & Brand Expansion

  • Build relationships with luxury hotels, fine dining groups, private clubs, specialty retailers, collectors, and premium event partners
  • Represent the brand at tastings, trade events, dinners, market visits, and strategic client engagements
  • Develop partnership opportunities that elevate awareness while protecting brand integrity

Account Management & Distributor Collaboration

  • Manage distributor, broker, or key account relationships with clear expectations and performance visibility
  • Monitor sell-through, placements, account activity, market feedback, and competitive positioning
  • Create practical plans that support growth without overextending inventory or diluting exclusivity

Reporting, Forecasting & Commercial Discipline

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, sales reporting, market notes, and account plans
  • Support pricing, promotional strategy, allocation planning, and annual sales forecasts
  • Use data and field insights to guide decisions and improve execution

What You Bring

  • 8–12+ years of progressive sales, distribution, trade, or partnership experience in wine, spirits, luxury hospitality, or premium consumer goods
  • Strong understanding of wine sales channels, distributor dynamics, account development, and brand positioning
  • Established relationships within fine dining, hospitality, specialty retail, or premium wine trade preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel for market visits, account development, events, and key partner meetings
  • Polished, strategic, self-directed, and highly protective of brand reputation

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary range of $130K–$170K DOE
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • PTO, paid holidays, and flexible work structure
  • Wine allotment, trade discounts, and event access
  • Opportunity to grow an ultra-premium wine brand through thoughtful, high-quality relationships
